If you want an easy plug & play power system (and can afford it), we'd recommend this Goal Zero Yeti 1400 battery. This powers our fridge, lights, electric water pump, and fan and charges our phones and laptops without an issue.
We have two of these 100w Renogy solar panels mounted on our roof. They plug in seamlessly to our Goal Zero Yeti 1400.
You'll need these connectors to connect the two solar panels to the Goal Zero battery. These allow you to pair the male and female to make one of each in order to plug them into the battery.
We use this fantastic fan constantly! You can suck or blow air allowing you to easily vent the van. This works great for us as we don't have any air conditioning.
We love these lights as they're sleek and beautiful and emit white, bright light. They're also very energy efficient as they're 12v LED lights.
We use this touch screen dimmer switch for our lights and love it! They look great and work perfectly.
This ARB fridge is SO efficient. The fact that it opens from the top means that very little cool air escapes since it sinks. The fridge only has to click on 3-4 times per day to keep our food nice and fresh!
We LOVE our faucet. It allows us to keep our sink clean as it's flexible.
This water pump is worth every penny. Often, water pumps are very loud - this one isn't loud at all and was super easy to install!
People often ask why we have such a small sink. It saves space and keeps us from leaving too many dishes undone!
Tools We Use
If you need a solid circular saw, we'd highly recommend this one!
We used this nail gun for... everything. For a van build, use this to keep things in place and then use screws for reinforcement.
This kreg jig is affordable and a lifesaver when building cabinets and drawers!
We love this small, easy to use impact driver!
Essential Camera Gear
This is a perfect universal DSLR. We use our Canon 80d for crispy pictures and beautiful footage. Weather resistant and durable!
We've had this tripod for... years. It is easy to use and can easily shoot photos in both landscape and portrait orientation!
This is a powerhouse when it comes to point-and-shoot cameras. The RX100 V can shoot up to 1,000 frames per second, has built-in crisp audio, and impressive low-light capabilities.
We use this 10-18mm 4.5-5.6 for everything - from inside the van (where you need wide capabilities to capture anything) to beautiful landscape photos.
Our favorite portrait lens also happens to be super affordable! This 50mm 1.8 lens starts at about $130 and captures beautiful images!
We use this external Rode Mic Pro Plus with our DSLR and not only does it deliver great audio, it also turns on and off with the camera - very necessary!
This Joby is what we mount our camera to when vlogging - it works great for both our DSLR and point-and-shoot!
